Analysis of Glycol type

We can help you find out what type of glycol is present in your system.

Ethylene and propylene glycol are the most commonly used glycols in the market. Both lower the freezing point, raise the boiling point and act as a plasticizer. However, they have several different properties, which means that glycol types should be handled separately all the way from usage to recycling. Various companies add different corrosion inhibitors, different dilutions and various color additives. Since there is no uniform color coding for glycol products in HTF or car coolant products, it is not possible to determine which glycol type you have by color.
